दिनानाथ हा राम कोदंडधारी । पुढें देखतां काळ पोटीं थरारी । जना वाक्य नेमस्त हें सत्य मानी । नुपेक्षी कदा राम दासाभिमानी ॥

हे मानवा! कोदंडधारी राम हा अनाथांचा नाथ आहे. त्याला पाहून यमराजही घाबरतो. माझे वचन निश्चित मान, की भक्ताभिमानी राम कधीही आपल्या भक्ताची उपेक्षा करीत नाही.

O human being, this bow-wielding Rama is the lord and protector of the helpless. Even Yama, the god of death, trembles at the sight of him. Accept my word as certain truth: Rama, who takes pride in his devotees, never neglects them.
